Clearing, site-prep and grading for new two-story showroom and below-ground parking deck
At Cummins Enterprises, we were honored to be part of the development of the new Hennessy Porsche facility located at 2501 Windy Hill Rd. SE, Marietta, GA 30067. Here's an overview of the comprehensive civil construction services we provided for this project:
Ground Floor Construction: We worked on the 43,341 square feet of the ground floor, preparing the site and ensuring proper grading and infrastructure for the building’s foundation and operations.
Parking Stalls: We helped develop 405 parking stalls, ensuring adequate parking for employees and customers, with proper grading and stormwater management.
Underground Detention Systems: We installed state-of-the-art underground detention systems to manage stormwater runoff efficiently. This included the installation of two ADS Stormtech systems:
MC 3500 ADS Stormtech System with 47 chambers.
MC 7200 ADS Stormtech System with 102 chambers.
These systems were designed to reduce flooding risk by capturing and managing stormwater before it enters the drainage system.
Storm Drainage Pipe Installation: We installed 1,680 linear feet of storm drainage pipe, ranging from 12” to 36”, to ensure effective stormwater management and prevent flooding on the property.
Sewer Line Installation: We installed 600 linear feet of sewer line, accompanied by two 1,500-gallon grease traps to ensure proper waste management and prevent blockages.
Domestic Water Line Installation: We installed 840 linear feet of domestic water lines, ranging from 1 ½” to 3”, ensuring a reliable water supply for the facility.
Fire Line Installation: We installed 780 linear feet of fire line, ranging from 4” to 8” in diameter, to provide vital infrastructure for fire suppression systems, ensuring safety in case of emergencies.
Bioretention Ponds: We installed bioretention ponds to improve water quality and assist with stormwater management, enhancing the sustainability of the site.
